The actor couple Rajasekhar and Jeevitha formally joined Congress in July last year during the state-wide membership drive. At the time they also expressed their consent to contest opposite Chiranjeevi in the coming elections if given a chance.

With the poll fever fast catching up in the state, in the wake of active campaign by NTR Jr and Chiranjeevi that has drawn huge crowds through road shows. Pawan Kalyan stepping in to the arena from 2nd April.

Jeevitha and Rajasekhar are buffing up to commence their campaign for Congress. The couple will reportedly begin their five day tour from Srikakulam on 5th April.
