The Film
Maa Vaadu is dubbed from the Tamil film Silambattam and has a stale story with hackneyed plot.

The Synopsis

This is a story vengeance and the protagonist is seen in two roles separated by two births and twenty years. The present Simbu is docile and lives with his grand-father. He also has a girl-friend (Sana Khan).

A flashback shows two village groups and the heads of these groups ( Prabhu and Ponvannan) are at a war of attrition. The brother (Simbu again) of the group head played by Prabhu is a protester along with his wife (Sneha).

The only twist in the story is the connection between the two roles played by Simbu. The rest is gang-war, gore, murder and mayhem.

The Performances

clothes at the flick of a finger. Sneha and Prabhu just go through their motions. All others are just adequate.

The Techniques

The less said about the other technical aspects, the better.

The Verdict

This film is avoidable at any cost.
